The West Slope plan organises a high-altitude resort near the historic town of Songpan, on the route to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. Built programme is broken into small clusters set into the forested slope, leaving ridgelines and meadows untouched; a network of trails, viewpoints and rest pavilions carries the visitor experience between them.
The masterplan pairs the resort economy with the town below, so that Songpan’s heritage core and the mountain landscape are experienced as one destination.
