The resort occupies a wooded stream valley outside Kangding, gateway city to the Tibetan plateau. Guest villas, bathing houses and a tea pavilion step down the slope on stone terraces, linked by bridges and lantern-lit paths that cross and re-cross the water.
The architecture pairs white rendered volumes with reclaimed timber frames and dry-stone walls, keeping the visual temperature low so that steam, forest and stream remain the protagonists. Bathing is treated as a slow landscape ritual — private pools open to the trees, and shared onsen courts gather around the sound of the water.
