Long Island lies within the Heilongtan scenic reservoir south of Chengdu. The plan organises the island as a chain of bays, each with its own character — arrival and marina, resort and wellness, forest lodges, lakeside village — connected by a continuous shore promenade that keeps the water’s edge public.
Building heights and densities are kept low and dispersed, with rooflines held below the tree canopy so that from the water the island continues to read as landscape. The project is under construction for Global Tourism Group.
