The Fengjing centre gathers the everyday services of its community — activity rooms, reading space, neighbourhood administration and a shared courtyard — into a compact building that stays open through the day’s full cycle.
The ground floor is designed as a continuous public interior, opening on two sides to street and garden so that programmes can spill outdoors in fine weather. Along the adjacent Yixing street, a lighting and facade upgrade extends the renewal into the public realm, giving the neighbourhood a safer and warmer evening ground.
